INFORMATION ON RENTAL / PURCHASE OF ITE GRADUATION ATTIRE

ITE GRADUATION ATTIRE
 

  1. All ITE graduands attending the ITE College Graduation Ceremony and ITE graduands who are Certificate of Merit Holders attending the ITE Graduation Ceremony are required to wear the ITE Graduation Attire.
     

  2. The dates for the respective College Graduation Ceremonies and ITE Graduation Ceremony are presented in the table below: 










     

  3. Only graduands who wear the ITE Graduation Attire will be allowed to join the proceedings.
     

  4. Graduands may choose to either rent or purchase the graduation attire.
     

  5. My Uniform Shop is appointed by the Institute of Technical Education to manage the rental and sale of ITE Graduation Attire to graduands.

WEARING THE GRADUATION ATTIRE

1. Please ensure that you have the correct collar flap colour for your Graduation Ceremony. The colour of the detachable collar flap, based on the graduand’s qualification level, is shown below:

3. The ITE Graduation Attire is available in XS, S, M, L, XL sizes. You may refer to the Size Chart below for the measurements of the 5 sizes.

Recommended Dress Code to Go With Graduation Attire

1. Graduands are advised to dress neatly and appropriately for the occasion. The ITE graduation gown looks good with the following attire:

RENTAL / PURCHASE - FOR ITE FULL-TIME GRADUATES

ITE Full-Time Graduates - Fees for the Rental / Purchase of ITE Graduation Attire

1. ITE full-time graduands can choose to rent or purchase the graduation attire. The fees for rental and sale of graduation attire are as follows:

Note: 
a) For Purchase, once the graduation attire is sold, it is not returnable. 
b) Requests for change of size after rental are subject to stock availability.

2. ITE full-time graduands attending their College Graduation Ceremony will pay a refundable deposit of $12 for the rental of the graduation attire.


3. Graduands will return the graduation attire after the College Graduation Ceremony. The $12 deposit will be refunded upon timely return of the graduation attire in good condition and presentation of the Hardcopy Rental Receipt.

RENTAL / PURCHASE - FOR ITE PART-TIME / WSDip GRADUATES

ITE Part-Time / WSDip Graduates - Fees for the Rental / Purchase of ITE Graduation Attire

1. ITE Part-Time / WSDip graduands can choose to rent or purchase the graduation attire. The fees for rental and sale of graduation attire are as follows:

a) For Purchase, once the graduation attire is sold, it is not returnable. 
b) Requests for change of size after rental are subject to stock availability.

2. ITE Part-Time / WSDip graduands attending their College Graduation Ceremony will pay $16.35 plus a refundable deposit of $12 for the rental of the graduation attire.


3. Graduands will return the graduation attire after the College Graduation Ceremony. The $12 deposit will be refunded upon timely return of the graduation attire in good condition and presentation of the Hardcopy Rental Receipt.

WHERE & WHEN TO RENT/PURCHASE

  1. My Uniform Shop will set up counters at the respective Colleges on specific days and timing for Graduands to rent or purchase their graduation attire. Please refer to the schedule below:










    ​​​​​Note: The rental/purchase of ITE Graduation Attire will not be available at the MUS Bedok retail outlet during the rental/purchase period at the Colleges. Rental/Purchase at the Bedok Retail Outlet is only available on 6 Feb 2026 and 7 Feb 2026 only. No other dates are available.
     

  2. Graduands who are unable to rent or purchase their graduation attire personally may print and complete the Authorisation Form (Rent/Purchase) and appoint someone to rent or purchase on their behalf.
     

  3. Graduands or the authorised person will be required to provide the following information to My Uniform Shop staff when renting or purchasing graduation attire.

    • ​Last 4 alphanumeric characters of their Student ID. (e.g. XXXXX567A); and

    • Last 2 digits of their Postal Code (e.g. XXXX56)
       

  4. How to check your student ID?
    Logging in to the ITE myPortal site → iStudent → Student Center → Profile→ Personal Particular (Student ID will be beside your name on the top right)
     

  5. Graduands who have missed the above rental/sales period can rent or purchase the graduation attire at My Uniform Shop’s retail outlet on 6 and 7 Feb 2026 only:

    Wed to Fri (3 pm – 8 pm), Sat (10 am – 4 pm)
    Closed on every Sunday to Tuesday & Public Holiday
    Tel: +65 6276 6689 (Operating hours). Please call to check stock availability before visiting. LAST DAY to rent is 7 Feb 2026.
     

  6. ​​All graduands will be notified of the details of the ITE Graduation Ceremonies and rental/purchase of ITE Graduation Attire by email. 

     

  7. Graduands who wish to order the ITE Graduation Attire via Home Delivery may submit a response via https://forms.gle/X6wThWLppEzBga5u7. The link will be available once the list of graduates is confirmed.

    Home delivery closes on 2 Feb 2026 (1:00 pm). Kindly submit your response before the stated date and time.
     

  8. Upon confirmation of the graduand’s details and successful payment of the graduation attire and delivery fee of $10.00 via PayNow, My Uniform Shop will deliver the graduation attire to the registered address within 4 to 7 working days.

PAYMENT

  1. Payment has to be made directly to My Uniform Shop when you rent /purchase your Graduation Attire.
     

  2. The payment for Rental and Purchase can be made in Cash or via PayNow. A hard copy Rental or Purchase Receipt will be issued to you upon payment.
     

  3. Graduands who opt to rent the graduation attire are advised to keep their hardcopy Rental Receipt carefully, as it will be needed when you return the attire.
     

  4. Please note that all transactions at My Uniform Shop’s retail outlet shall be made in Cash only.

My Uniform Shop's Retail Outlet will be closed on: ​15 Feb 2026 (Sun) to 24 Feb 2026 (Tues), both dates inclusive.

Resume our normal operations on 25 Feb (Wed), from 3 pm to 8 pm.

RETURN OF GRADUATION ATTIRE

1. We strongly encourage you to return the rented graduation attire immediately after the ITE College Graduation Ceremony. There will be a booth available after the ceremony at the respective college for you to return the graduation gown.


2. If you are unable to do so, please return the rented graduation attire at My Uniform Shop Retail Outlet within two weeks following the ITE Graduation  Ceremony.

3. The $12 Rental Deposit will be refunded to graduands or the authorised person upon timely return of the graduation attire in good condition. You are required to present your hardcopy Rental Receipt to collect your Rental Deposit. Failure to produce the hardcopy Rental Receipt will result in the forfeiture of your full Rental Deposit.

4. Please note that the deposit will also be forfeited if the graduation attire is:

  • Returned with permanent stains/ tearing/ burnt marks/ alterations or any other damage such that the attire has to be replaced; or

  • Returned after Sat 07 Mar 2026 
     

5. There will be a penalty for the following scenario/damage to the graduation attire. Please refer to the chart below:

6. Graduands who are unable to return the graduation attire personally may download and complete the Authorisation Form (Return) and authorise someone to return the attire on their behalf.


​7. To collect your Rental Deposit, the authorised person must present the following documents:

  • Authorisation Form (Return) duly completed and signed; and

  • Your Rental Receipt

  • Note: Failure to produce this Rental Receipt will result in the forfeiture of your full Rental Deposit.

  • No Hardcopy Receipt = No Refund.
